Like an initiatory rite, Weight of Light takes the viewer along a path of transformation. From the spark hidden in darkness, to the plunge into an ocean of light, the Venetian artist recounts the tension of those seeking their own truth balanced between darkness and revelation.

It is in the darkroom that D’Agostin’s thinking takes shape. In that suspended space, where time expands and light becomes living matter, the photographer shapes his vision.
In the red of the lamp, the artist inhabits the threshold between the invisible and the visible: hands dance on the paper and from the shadows the image emerges like a revelation: an ancient gesture dense with meaning that restores to photography the dimension of waiting and unveiling, with the awareness that every form of beauty requires time, care and listening.
