Modulnova's research on stone stems from a desire to expand the possibilities of design, taking a naturally full and textural material to a new freedom of application. Through the development of dedicated construction solutions, stone keeps its expressive power intact, but acquires a structural lightness that makes its more evolved use possible. In Blade Lab this innovation finds one of its most advanced expressions. The stone, marble or granite door is made from a hollowed-out slab and integrated with an aluminum honeycomb panel in a thickness of 15 mm.
A solution that preserves the monolithic presence of the material while making it compatible with a high-performance design system. The result is a precise balance between material and technology, between visual intensity and constructive control. Stone does not lose its character, but enters the project with a new precision, paving the way for more rigorous surfaces, essential volumes and greater compositional freedom. It is in this ability to transform a notoriously heavy material into a lighter architectural presence that we recognize one of the most significant innovations of Modulnova research.

The Modulnova project thus overcomes the traditional limits of space configuration through research that integrates matter, architecture and technological innovation into a single system. Volumes extend, containment is amplified, and the surface area exceeds the usual size. Metal Blade doors generate continuous walls that can reach six meters in height. An aerospace-derived aluminum honeycomb structure, enclosed in just 1 cm thickness, supports this design tension with rigor, precision and construction skill.

Modulnova has embarked on a journey of exploration and innovation in materials, experimenting with unconventional solutions that have become hallmarks of interior design. It is a journey oriented toward the continuous search for beauty, the overcoming of design limits and the creation of exclusive and timeless environments that express the essence of a unique and identity-driven design.
Stoneware, a material traditionally used in construction, was first introduced to the world of kitchens by Modulnova in 2006, later extending to living and bathroom environments. The company has developed a patented construction system that has made it possible to achieve results of aesthetic excellence while elevating the performance of the material, which, subjected to rigorous testing, ensures superior durability and strength.
Gres TECH is the innovative top made in three layers with a patented construction system that combines technique and craftsmanship: the 6 mm outer layer, consisting of the aesthetic slab, combined with two 4 mm layers, which act as a support, for a total thickness of 14 mm. Tech technology represents the result of great process innovation that makes the material extremely high-performance and increasingly aesthetically faithful to natural stone.

Folding arises from manual workmanship that allows the wood to continue beyond the surface of the sash, accompanying the grain on edges and thicknesses with continuity and precision. This is an intervention that requires control, sensitivity and executive skill, so that the material maintains consistency throughout the volume. The result is a door in which front, edge and thickness belong to the same material construction. The wood acquires greater depth, the detail becomes more intense, the volume more compact and rigorous. A workmanship that transforms the naturalness of the material into a more evolved architectural presence.

With the Glass door, Modulnova brings glass into a more advanced design dimension. Transparency meets rigor, lightness joins precision, the surface achieves a new visual continuity. Underlying this is a patented technology developed to integrate the structure within the system and minimize its perceptual presence. The result is a door in which technique recedes and purity emerges. Glass acquires a new freedom of expression, supported by a construction that amplifies its aesthetic strength without interrupting its essentiality. An innovation that transforms complexity into visual lightness and opens to a new idea of architectural elegance.
