The structure recedes until it disappears into the surface, allowing an essential sequence of vertical and horizontal marks to emerge. The Soft shelves introduce a natural material presence, defined by the rounded edge, while the light, entrusted to integrated spotlights hidden from view, intervenes in some compartments, reveals the surfaces, intensifies the material and amplifies the depth of the space.

The light, entrusted to integrated point spotlights hidden from view, selectively intervenes on the vertical compartments. It illuminates the Pietra Piasentina backrest, creating a theatrical atmosphere: it crosses the bookcase, reveals the surfaces, intensifies the material and defines a sequence of light and shadow plays.
